Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get involved?

Students in grades 5-12 can try out for our teams. Registration and tryouts for summer and high school seasons will take place mid-March. Registration and tryouts for winter season will take place early October.  Tryout dates will be announced on our website and other media platforms. Tryout fees will vary based on the age level.

Interested players will practice together by grade level for 2 sessions, and teams will be formed for the upcoming season. Players are evaluated by the coaching staff during the two-day tryout. They are then ranked and offered positions based on the roster openings.

Will all players participating in tryouts out be placed on a team?

Our aim is to avoid making cuts whenever possible. However, given the limitations we face, it may not always be feasible to accommodate every aspiring athlete. To ensure fairness and equal opportunities, our team formation process is based on the number of players attending tryouts at each grade level. This means that the availability of spots on teams may vary depending on the turnout. The goal is to have 9-10 players per team, but final roster numbers will be at Coach Morgan's discretion.

We encourage players who may not have made the teams to continue practicing and participating in other sports activities. We believe that dedication and perseverance will always lead to personal growth and future opportunities in sports.

How are selected players notified?

Selected players will be offered roster spots within 24 hours of the last tryout date, either face-to-face or via phone or email. Players have 24-48 hours to accept the roster spot. The acceptance deadline will be communicated when you are notified. Registration and payment details will follow acceptance.

How often is practice?

Practices at our organization happen twice a week, on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Each practice lasts for two hours, providing ample time for training and instruction. What sets us apart is that all teams practice simultaneously, allowing for combined sessions while still enabling coaches to focus on each team individually.

This approach ensures consistency throughout our program and creates a valuable opportunity for younger players to observe and learn from their older counterparts. It fosters relationship building, mentoring, teamwork, and team spirit – all vital aspects of our organization's philosophy.

All players should make every effort to attend all practices. Practices are held at The Courts, 11295 Washington St., Northglenn, CO 80233 unless otherwise noted.

How many games, when and where?

Players in our organization can expect to play an average of 30-35 games per season. These games take place on weekends at different gym locations throughout the Denver metro area. Our teams participate in league play and various tournaments throughout the season.

For the high school team, they typically take part in 4-5 travel tournaments each season. The locations of these tournaments may vary from year to year, but in the past, we have visited cities such as Kansas City, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Tulsa, and Wichita.

When is registration and payment due?

Registration and payment for our upcoming season are required to be completed in full by April 30th. There will be early pay discounts as well as payment plan opportunities. Credit card payments are accepted through the website and will include a nominal transaction fee. Cash and check are also accepted.

Once registration is finalized, no refunds will be issued, as tournament fees have already been paid and team gear has been ordered.
